A few snapshots of the carving process:
Images are drawn, in reverse, on a pine board.
Using hand chisels, the white of the image is carved out.
Hand rubbings are done periodically, to view the print image.
More carving out of negative spaces continues, until the image is satisfactory.
Some images are created with multiple wood-cuts, as in “Echos”, with two of the three woodcuts comprising that image in the above photo.
